How long will it take to receive my sink?
At NBI Drainboard Sinks, all of our farmhouse kitchen and bath/utility sinks are handmade from scratch to order. It can be difficult to give a generic answer to this question as timelines vary depending on how busy we are and how many orders we have for that particular model! A safe bet would be anywhere from 2-4 weeks, there are outliers on both ends of the spectrum! Please call or email to get a more precise timeline for your order/interest.
Can I use a garbage disposal with my drainboard sink?
Absolutely! At NBI Drainboard sinks, our family craft focuses on providingng the quality and aesthetic of the vintage sinks that inspire us while meeting the needs of a modern kitchen. All of our farmhouse sinks are manufactured to accept a standard garbage disposal.
If my sink has a backsplash, do I need to reopen my wall to rough the plumbing in?
No! (This question only applies to sinks with high backsplashes/wall mounted faucets) Many of our customers have preexisting plumbing beneath their vanity/cabinetry. The concern being, if they drop this farmhouse sink in, will they have to reopen the wall to run plumbing up behind the backsplash and into the faucet. You do not! Our high back sinks are manufactured with enough space on the backside of the sink to tuck your supply lines in between the sink and your wall and then run a 90 degree right into the faucet! No need to make a mess and cause a hassle, we strive to create a high quality, durable product that allows for seamless installation.
Do you products have a warranty?
Absolutely! We take great pride in the durability of our handmade farmhouse sinks, we won’t let you down. If something is to happen, your sink is protected by our 5 year warranty. We treat our customers like family, we won’t leave you high and dry!
How do I clean my sink?
Due to our acrylic being virtually non-porous, it won’t take much effort to keep clean! The number one rule when caring for your vintage farmhouse sink is to stay away from harsh/abrasive cleaners. Our sinks are built to last, however, harsh abrasives will certainly cause your sink to lose some of its shine over time! Rather than list the endless list of cleaners that can be used on your drainboard sink, we recommend this. Research the individual cleaning product you are interested in using, see if it is safe for use on acrylic. If you are not sure, please call our team and we can certainly assist you!
